New York Legend Prodigy Dies At Age 42
New York rapper Prodigy past today due to his battle of sickle cell since birth. The legend was part of the rap group Mobb Deep, releasing three album including “The Infamous,” from 1995; “Hell on Earth,” from 1996; and “Murda Muzik,” from 1999. The two went on to make one of New York's biggest songs in the 90's "Quiet Storm"
His publicist, Roberta Magrini, said that Prodigy was hospitalized there following a recent Mobb Deep performance, for complications of sickle cell anemia, She added that the cause of death had not yet been determined.
