Jay Z To Pair Up with National Geographic For New Documentary Series about Race in America

Jay Z is one of the biggest legends still alive today in the hip hop world, today we get news that he will be having a documentary project with National Geographic. Jay Z recently had success with "The Kalief Browder Story" that aired on Spike and a recently-approved film/TV package about the Trayvon Martin shooting. The show title will be "Race With Jay Z" a sixepisode series, which will include animated segments, interviews and archival footag. The show will cover stories from across America, covering issues relating to criminal justice issues, activism, and the income gap. It’s the third project that’s been announced toward Jay’s two-year first-look deal with the Weinstein Brothers’ production company.
