Kid Cudi Checks Into Rehab
Kid Cudi went on a crazy rant a few weeks ago, and now the rapper is headed into a treatment center for depression and sucidal urges. This can explain the reason why he was so emotional. Kid cudi had a written letter to his fans on his situation.
“I am not at peace,” said Mescudi in the heart-wrenching open letter. “I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I would’ve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life. Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like. Idk how to relax. My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I cant make new friends because of it. I don’t trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace.”
Cudi new album was pushed back and he also gave his thoughts on the new project and how the business will handled
While much of the letter was introspective, the 32-year-old rapper also gave an update on his anticipated album, Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin’.
“I won’t be around to promote much, but the good folks at Republic and my manager Dennis will inform you about upcoming releases. The music videos, album release date etc. The album is still on the way. Promise. I wanted to square away all the business before I got here so I could focus on my recovery.”
Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin’ was slated to drop last Friday, Sept. 30, but a day before the drop date, Cudi told fans on Twitter that the LP would be delayed due to sample clearances. Cudi’s new album is set to feature André 3000, Pharrell, Travis Scott and Willow Smith on 18 new tracks.
